Privacy policy

This is a starting template. Have it reviewed for your jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR if you operate from the EU) before relying on it.

What we collect

• Analytics. We use self-hosted Umami, which is cookieless and doesn't track you across sites. We see aggregate page views, referrers and outbound clicks.
• Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your email address and the purchase amount, never your card details.
• API usage. For each extraction we store the requested URL, token counts, credits used and a timestamp, so we can bill accurately and prevent abuse. We do not store extracted page content or results.
• Playground and rate limiting. We process your IP address to enforce free-tier limits. Counters are kept per day.
• Email updates. If you subscribe, we store your email address until you unsubscribe.
• Chat. The on-site chat widget is provided by Chatisto. Messages you send there are processed by that provider.

API keys

We store only a one-way hash of your API key. If you lose it, contact us and we'll issue a replacement after verifying your purchase.

Third parties

Page content you submit for extraction is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for extraction, and to TypeSafe's API to verify the results. Both process it under their commercial API terms.
